Description:
Black Sesame Extract is extracted from the mature seeds of Black Sesame. Its appearance is brownish yellow powder. It is mainly used in medicine and health care products, beverage and food additives, and is a tonic medicine product.
Function:
1. Effect on blood sugar
Oral administration of black sesame seed extract in rats can reduce blood glucose, increase glycogen content in liver and muscle, but decrease glycogen content in large amounts;
2. Anti-inflammatory effects
It has been reported that the application of fresh and sterilized sesame oil to skin mucosa can reduce irritation and promote the recovery of inflammation.;
3. Other role
Feeding black sesame oil (0.2ml/100g bw) for 10 days can increase the content of ascorbic acid and cholsterol in adrenal gland. Histochemical examination also showed that the adrenal cortex function was inhibited to some extent, especially in late gestation. Black sesame contains linoleic acid can reduce the cholesterol content in blood, and have the effect of preventing and curing arteriosclerosis. Injection of black sesame oil into normal or castrated rats tended to increase cell volume. Black sesame seed has cathartic effect and sesamin in its oil has synergistic effect on pyrethrin to kill flies.
