Description:
Guava is contracted from a small tree (Guava Tree), with spreading branches, the guava is easy to recognize because of its smooth, thin, copper-colored bark that flakes off, showing the greenish layer beneath. This powdered product gives off a strong, sweet and musky odor. Dehydrated guavas may be reduced to a powder which can be used to flavor ice cream, confections and fruit juices, or boiled with sugar to make jelly, or utilized as pectin to make jelly of low-pectin fruits. Guava powder is a creamy white color with a characteristic flavor.
Function:
1. Guava leaf extract is able to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro.
2. Studies show that extract of guava leaves has been found effective in
killing different strains of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella,
and Escherichia coli.
