Description:
Perennial herb, 0.5 ~ 1.2m tall. Stem erect, covered with fine white hairs, upper branches. Leaves alternate, middle and lower leaves broad, 3 to 5 deeply divided or pinnately divided, lobes round or round lanceolate, margin irregularly serrated, white glandular points scattered above, sparsely felt, dense white felt below. Inflorescence bell-shaped, 3~4mm long, 2 ~ 2.5mm in diameter, barely sessile; Involucral bracts 4~5 layers, densely white wooly, margin membranous, outer lanceolate; Female flowers about 1mm long; Bisexual flowers are fruiting, ca. 2mm long, purplish-brown. Achenes rounded, glabrous. Flowering period from July to October.
